Temot International classifies its suppliers in accordance with a number of qualitative and quantitative criteria taking into consideration their operational performance and above all their strategic importance. In order to create value for the shareholders and consequently the suppliers, Temot International has chosen to deliberately follow a very selective strategy and therefore work only with suppliers that meet high requirements.
The overall classification system is called TISS (Temot International Supplier System), and foresees two supplier categories, i. e. the Preferred Suppliers and the Associated Suppliers. An additional entry level has been introduced for suppliers under consideration but not yet fulfilling the presuppositions for one category.
The Temot International Supplier Management philosophy rests on the belief in long-term partnerships and close co-operation with the listed suppliers. Business growth with the listed suppliers within the Temot network is of paramount importance and principal objective.
