Business Activities
Temot International as organisation identifies and deploys synergies, accumulates and shares know-how and interacts intensively, both bilaterally and multilaterally. The quest to add value in the Automotive Aftermarket is pursued through its serious networking, procurement, data management, garage concepts and systems and public affairs.
Procurement
Temot International doesn't run any procurement activity by means of acquisition of goods and services. It functions as interface and catalyst between its shareholders, the suppliers and other third-party product and service providers. It supports the shareholders in their international purchasing activities and provides guidance through long-term co-operation and partnership agreements with leading suppliers in the industry, targeting sustainable profitable business growth for all shareholders.
Temot shareholders, without giving away their sovereignty in local purchasing decisions, select their suppliers preferentially from the limited pool of the commonly defined Temot International suppliers.
Business Networking
Business networking is Temot International's most profound socio-economic activity. It brings together suppliers and shareholders with suitable and similar business attitudes and principles to detect, generate, and exploit business opportunities. It is reinforcing closer binding and long-lasting efficient business relationships.
Through international events, intensified and continuous communication flow, by usage of modern tools, instruments and dynamic communication platforms, Temot International efficiently reaches multiple layers of the shareholders and suppliers management. The efforts and media applied promote interaction and interfacing, disseminate know-how and enable effective international knowledge management.
Temot International Business Networking bypasses cultural divergences, enables truly international collaboration, supports actively all sectoral public affairs activities and extends beyond the continental borders in a global dimension.
Creation of synergies
Temot International activities result in multiple synergies within the suppliers/shareholders interaction. Higher purchasing volumes that mean scale effects, the international collective approach leads to less fragmentation, transfer of best and most efficient practices, reduction of cost through data management, and finally to avoiding a duplication of work.
Know-How accumulation and transfer
Tacit knowledge is difficult to be accumulated and disseminated. Temot International facilitates the process of how to get things done in different ways. From shareholder to shareholder - supplier and vice versa by means of its core activities and in particular through the work in common projects with councils and shareholders’ teams, international meetings and events, alliances, market monitoring and benchmarking.
Garage concepts and systems
More than 30 different garage concepts in 19 countries are associated with Temot International shareholders. The total number of associated garages exceeds 14,000 including multiple forms from full service concepts up to light franchise ones, web-based solutions and truck-specific ones.
Data Management
The Temot International data management currently covers three database or electronic cataloguing projects, i. e. EMS, Steering and Exhaust. Teams of product and data specialists from the Temot International shareholders join forces in creating the best possible data solutions for the whole group of Temot International shareholders.
The outstanding data quality, accuracy and compatibility generate a key benefit for all shareholders. Temot International data projects set a standard for the international product management and help the shareholders' product managers to increase sales and reduce reverse logistics.
