200 professionals attend Cecauto Centro’s IV Convention

Toledo, 21.10.2011

Cecauto Centro’s IV Convention of Associates and Network of Garages, with the slogan “Committed to you”, was a great success, both in the number of attendees and the quality of content. The meeting, which was held recently in Toledo, at the magnificent location of Hotel Beatriz, was attended by more than 200 professionals from various associated outlets and Cecauto garages in more than 20 provinces. The Cecauto Network, to which 68 members were added in 2011, is currently made up of 549 garages across Spain. The event was attended by Antonio Pujadó, president of Cecauto, Jesús Lucas, its general director, and Bernardino Sánchez, manager of Cecauto Levante, as well as suppliers, representatives of associations from the sector and other important figures, who analysed the post-sale situation in Spain.

Some relevant information which was on offer during the convention, which brought together the charm and history of the city of Toledo with an interesting day’s work, regards the fact that the use of the internet as a sales channel for spare parts has now reached very significant levels at Cecauto: 80% of its orders are made on its webpage, a site which will focus more and more on the garages, as Antonio Mendo, commercial director of Cecauto Centro and head of Cecauto’s Network of Garages, explained.
The proportion of own brands in Cecauto’s sales was also highlighted: 22% of total sales, which has a lot to do with the depth on offer, with 32 product families.

As happens every year, the event included a gala dinner which served as a context to recognise the progress of garages and outlets associated in the central zone. The Members of the Cecauto Networks Talleres Jacobo, from Cebreros (Ávila), and Talleres Sáez Bravo, from Ocaña (Toledo), were the repair shops which received prizes during the gala dinner.

For their part, Auto Repuestos Jose, from Burgos, and Talamanca Recambios / Recambios El Casar (in Talamanca del Jarama –Madrid- and El Casar –Guadalajara-) were the associated shops distinguished with the Camilo prizes.
