The TEMOT International Network consist of two pillars:
Passenger Cars and
Commercial Vehicles.
Both Networks interact with each other but retain their own structure, Shareholders, Suppliers and administration. The TEMOT Passenger Cars Network has 70 Shareholders active on five continents. The TEMOT Commercial Vehicles Network consists of 52 Shareholders operating on almost all continents. Some Shareholders are successfully active in both sectors.
TEMOT Suppliers are selected and classified according to numerous qualitative and quantitative criteria. The aim is to create a competitive circle of Suppliers per product category. Suppliers are selected without discrimination or bias – the market and the individual performance of each partner decides their success. The Category Management and overall classification system is called TEMOT International Supplier System (TISS).
TISS features three Supplier categories: Preferred, Associated and Listed. Achieving business growth with related Suppliers within the TEMOT network is a principal objective of paramount importance.

These solutions include a comprehensive portfolio of product data modules, technical platforms featuring diagnostics interfaces, a database for Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Information, Content Management and web-based tools.
This technical service range also encompasses the organization of eLearning solutions, multifaceted Webinars and other virtual and physical activities.
International Procurement activities at local and regional levels are of fundamental importance for all the Shareholders of TEMOT. The organization of either joint or separate purchasing as part of international procurement aims to reduce costs by leveraging volumes, structuring complex Supplier relationships and utilizing system improvements to reduce external outflows while improving quality and Supplier performance.
In order to prosper and remain sustainably competitive, TEMOT Shareholders need to improve their control over all aspects of costs while optimizing their processes to become more efficient and agile. Procurement activities mainly involve Vendor Management, Product Category Management, Joint Purchasing and Tendering.
